Dang I picked Brock by SD. I think Chambers-Povertin should be a good fight.

Goes to show what some of us already knew, who the hell is calvin brock? The Klitschko fans can bang on about having a win over him but really, so what, its Calvin Brock. Peter has been exposed, Byrd was no great win, Brock never was and nobody took Austin serious. Now afer fighting the one eyed Brewster we still dont know if Wlad has improved due to the poor oppositon.

This "Byrd-lite" better not get in with Wlad. I do see him beating Peter and maybe Sultan.

The Showtime crew was terrible, especially the blind cheerleading by Farhood. 117-111Chambers? Brock would throw like 5 combos to the body & head and Chambers would throw a little combo or 2 at the end and they'd give him the round. EZE did a nice round by round & his score matched 2 of the judges at 115-113 Chambers.

    That's a pathetic argument.

Wlad beat Peter & Brock for the first time in their careers.

He KO'd Austin, who had just gotten a draw vs. Sultan, with 1 arm tied behind his back :yep

Brewster had 2 good eyes & he admitted as much after the fight.

I think Chambers would have a better chance vs. Peter for sure.

Sultan would kick his ass though, Iggy's just as fast, throws better & more accurate combos & he's beaten the better competition.

Chambers can fight. the decision should not have been that close. Fast Eddie did give a bit too much respect to a very tired warhorse. He could have got him out of there if he was a bit more aggressive in spots. Fast Eddie is still a baby. I see a good upside - very talented kid. :smoke :smoke

Maybe Chambers should consider training down in weight and lording it over the cruiserweight division.

chambers got skills, hand speed, good head movement and accuracy. He beats povetkaput handily. He had Brock running in the late rounds. He does not have that equalizer but he could take povetkin but I think he is far too small with not enough power to even worry Wlad.

Yeah, I could not believe that his dad to him to stay away and give away the last two rounds of a close fight. That was some of the worst advice I have heard. I bet Brock was disappointed in his dad after that call.

Chambers is alot faster than I expected. Good boxer who is also very aggressive for being such a light puncher.

But I think Povetkin beats Chambers pretty decisively.

Chambers better hope Povetkin beats him because if he steps in the ring trying that Byrd type **** against Wlad he's gonne find out 1) He's slower than a prime Byrd, and 2) He's gonna get hit more than a prime Byrd did.

    Wlad vs Chambers, Wlad TKO5.

Before the weigh in I perdicted Brock to win, but when I seen he was 20 pounds over his usual fighting weight I changed my perdiction to Chambers to win by close decision.

Brocks weight was the factor in this fight, alot of the rounds were close between 2, with Brock landing more punches and Chambers landing the more significant punches. I dont know about anyone else, but it looked like Brock lost power gaining all that weight.

I cant wait for the Chambers/Povetkin show down, my money is on Povetkin because it seems like he doesnt tire out down the stretch, which is usually how Chambers wins fights by taking advantage of his oppenent when he's tired.

I thought it was just a pathetic fight on both ends. Brock looked like he was 50 years old in there moving like a turtle, and Chambers barely threw anything the first 6 rounds, i thought the commentators were out of their minds having chambers winning by 6 or 7 rounds, all in all terrible fight. Povetkin will destroy Chambers but at least we can look forward to Povetkin- Klitschko, a real meaningful heavyweight championship in a while

Ahh.. my predicting friend.....as long as its outside germany??
It will be YOU'RE SUPRISE:yep Thats a 15 point swing, I wish I could apply it before New years:good

I dont care what Brock came in at. It seems as though you are anti chambers because you're a Povetkin fan. Its ok, i understand, but Chambers used excellent speed, D, and accuracy and dominated Brock. That wasnt a SPLIT decision by any means, in fact it wasnt real close at all:hey

You'll see, Povetkin will huff, puff, and flap, but not land, and get countered consistently. Chambers WILL WALK HIM DOWN AS WELL:yep
Povetkin wont be physically stronger by any means:nono
