Is this official? Would be a good fight, see how much Eddie has still got left and hopefully get the winner (back) into contention. Eddie's really been screwed, he was a solid top 10 guy for years, then picked up a couple losses and no one wanted to fight him anymore. Lost enough cred, that with the fact that he doesn't bring much financially to the table, and the fact he's widely considered much too dangerous, people could get away with avoiding him. I would have loved to see him against some of the current top 20-30, see where they were really at. I think the division is opening up now, with more contender fights going to happen. Hopefully both the winner and the loser of this, if it happens, get some legit top 30-40 fights.
