No - he pulled out because he was worried he woudn't be paid (that's the most sensible explanation based on available info)

Povetkin beat him. He's beatable. We know that. On the other hand, Wlad has demonstrated his ability to win by by "utilizing the jab, throwing the left-hook, and bombing with the right hand"

This happens with all Wlad fights. The opponent gets pumped up by his fans and the anti-Klitschkos before the fight. Then Wlad makes them look amateur. E.g. there was a lot of talk on here about how Ray Austin was going to rough him up.

I'll admit Klitschko's chances of winning are much higher then Chambers. But I think this time it's different, there is plenty of people hyping this fight up and for a reason because Chambers is legitimatize contender. Chagaev, Byrd, Austin, and Ibragmiov were given little to no chance.

The height difference looks a bit more than its meant to be.

There were many "experts" claiming that Ibragimov would stop Wlad. A lefty with fast hands and power. Of course, Iggy's power was only enough to knocki out guys as small as himself or over-the-hill Mount Whitakers.

I gotta say this in Chambers' defense -- he's taking this **** very seriously. He looks light and fit from what I can tell, a LOT better than he did for those initial press conference pics. It seems he put in the work to give himself the best opportunity. Will it be enough? We'll see.

Wladimir uses his size advantage better than anyone else out there, pound for pound. That will be a tough mountain to climb for Fast Eddie, but I won't say he can't do it.

I wish him well because he's such a class act. But it will be a tall order to win a UD over Wlad. He's up on the scorecard's at the end of his fights 98% of the time. Fast Eddie has to overcome some serious odds.

U nuthugging little ******. Wlad Klitschko CANNOT take a punch. Tony never hit him with anything. Wlad knows he can't take a punch thats why his fights r so boring. If he thinks theres a chance he's going to get hit he want throw a punch. Peter floored his ass 3 times and Wlad cheated and held like a *****. Wlad is a paper champion.

I've been on here a few years and (with all respect to Eddie Chambers) I think he's actually being given less chance (by the ESB crowd) than many of Wlad's recent opponents (because of the sheer size difference I think). I say Wlad wins TKO 8, but of course Eddie does have a chance if Wlad has a bad day or makes mistakes.

For anyone doubting chambers i'm from philly and from what i've heard chambers has sparred wlad n emanuel steward had to cut their session short due to Chambers landing on Wlad alot. I know it's just sparring but im just saying anyways. Chambers has a good chance at winning, although i would say he would have a great chance if they were fighting on American soil for decision purposes. Anyways Chambers is coming in at in the best shape of his career at 210. since his lost he's improved a great deal he's much more active in each round his head movment n footwork is better and he seems to have alittle more pop in his punches. Saying that wlad is going to have trouble with Eddies shell defense thats he's tweaked with head movement and parrying. He's also working off his jab to get by wlad's long pawing jab. And if eddie does get close wlad better watch the uppercut also. theres so much that eddie can do now that he wasn't too fluent doing what he's doing now becuase of the extra weight but now if given a fair chance in wlads home, eddie should have a great chance

From what I heard from Chef, Chambers received a black eye in sparring from Wladimir.
