Sometimes you can't be a champion due to your genetics, moron. Even if you'd train forever but then you had to be immortal. **** you.
I doubt Floyd Sr. made a lot of money boxing, having never made it past the contender level. Roger probably made some decent money, but Floyd isn't his kid, and boxers are known for being terrible with money anyway. My guess is that Floyd Jr. came from a decent, lower-middle class background. I wouldn't put too much confidence in coming from a boxing family meaning financial security. Cory Spinks of all people grew up in a St. Louis ghetto.
what about carl froch, he himself said his yout was pretty tough, his bike got stolen and he went to a public school.
De La Hoya grew up in an East L.A. barrio. Roy was a country boy, I don't know how much $$ they had, but his dad was abusive in his training of him.
Roy Jones grew up with the crazy AZZ dad. Not crazy in the Floyd Jr or Ali way, but Jones dad pushed Roy through ridiculous training. DLH family had to use food stamps and lived in the ghetto. He came from a good family that stuck together though.
