Putting ? Marks on the ones that is debatable.

Obviously Ali couldn't have avenged Holmes lost, and Oscar couldn't have avenged his loss to Manny, but these champions could have and definitely should have.

    Vitali Klithscko - Chris Byrd.
Quit against a MiddleWeight, 100% should have avenged his defeat. Instead let his boxer brother fight the boxer for him.

    Wladimir Klitschko-Ross Purrity.

On Esb, we talk a lot about 'journeymen' like 'Rahman was a journeyman, Douglas was a Journeyman. Ross Purrity was ACTUALLY a journeyman.
He was fighting for drug money and free meals.
He not only beat up Wladimir, but carried Wlad around the ring afterwards like Wlad was some god damn Beta. He made Wladimir his ***** after that fight, carrying Wlad around like that.
He would have accepted a rematch against Wlad for 2,000 dollars.
    Instead K2 send Vitali.

Wladimir Klithscko vs Corrie Sanders. ??????

This one is debatable. I don't even know if Wlad could have beaten Corrie in a rematch, the most likely scenario is Wlad would have gotten brutally knocked the **** out again. So unless someone convince me otherwise, this one is a ?.

If Wlad can not even avenge the rematch in the first place, I give this one a pass.

    Foreman-Ali
Young 70's George could have beaten Ali in a rematch.

    Tyzu-Hatton??????

This one I'm not that sure about. Tyzu was getting old, but maybe he should have given it one more go?

    Barrea vs Naseem ?????
Anyone here think Naseem could have taken the rematch?

    What about Tyzu-Hatton?

I know Tyzu was at the end of his career, but he could have gone in with a new gameplan

Ya, hard to say. I don't know if Tyzu could have beaten Hatton at that point. But who knows, you are right, he could have used a new game plan.

Barrera really should have beaten junior jones

But i suppose he just had barreras number, he always said it was jone's long reach that gave him problems

This! I mean barrera put on a great performance that night but hamed just got outboxed over 12 rounds he had some moments but couldent capitilise on a very focused seasoned pro like barrera

I suggest people watch the 2 fights barrera had before hamed (jesus salud especially) iv never seen a more complete fighter
