Muhammad Ali's resume featuring the Foremans,Nortons and Fraziers speaks for itself.

Rocky Marciano cleaned out the division too.

Another bad post courtesy of Bokaj .
Ali was not d defending champion vs Foreman and when he was he did not take on Foreman . Besides , d Foreman fight is irrelevant .
Since u mentioned Ali , these must b posted here in order 2 prevent any mistakes by those who r here 2 learn :
    Ali in general :
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=347452
    D Foreman fight :
    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211663
Every disagreement about Ali keep 2 d relevant threads about it , since they already r such threads . This thread is not about Ali so keep him out of here , even if almost everything u ever knew or cared about this sport is restricted 2d man u can't even bother 2 watch yourself .
Also , i thought d Bokaj account gets more respect here , so use it .

As 4 Rocco , he had a weak old lightcruiserweight division 2 rule , Cream fought him in his 2 last fights , Wright went on 2 lose 2 almost every HW titleholder that came after 4 a decade , not b4 he lost 2 Charles once by KO and twice by decision among others , and Charles was simply never a heavyweight and past his best . Rocco's opposition still was not 1 of d worst , but no need 2 get carried away about it .

Nothing whatsoever to do with Bokaj,my friend. We just happen to share a view. Ali had no need to take on Norton or Frazier a second time. A title shot against Foreman was still guaranteed, but Ali still wanted them.

    Happy new year,Frank.

Of course Ali wanted them ,
taking on Frazier & Norton a 2nd time was a lot more recommended 4 Ali than taking on Foreman a 2nd time :deal hence it happened this way .
He didn't even bother giving Doug Jones a rematch :yep .
2 think d result of Foreman vs Ali was "due 2 style" is like thinking Leonard vs Hearns was due 2 style (it was due 2 Hearns' trouble making 147 which took his stamina) .
Or better , like Hagler vs Leonard .
Foreman would have taken Ali's head off under well supervised circumstances .

Foreman simply could n't deal with what Ali presented him with. Ali would have won under any circumstance.

I do agree with you about Leonard/Hearns though. The Hit Man faded badly.

Marciano is a great shout I think. Didn't he fight his number 1 contender all but one time, and that was against his number 2 contender?

Ali could never beat Foreman under regular circumstances .
He cheated once against him , and since he couldn't repeat d same cheat again , and Dundee did not have another idea , he avoided him 4d rest of his life . Foreman would have raped your poster boy that u love watching , but can't stand watching him inside d ring . Fighting is not about who has d prettier face , it's about who is el mas macho .
