I think Nogueira will beat Sylvia. I also think there is a good chance BJ will win the title, only to vacate it and move to WW and challenge Hughes or GSP :deal And if the Hendo/Silva match is made, Anderson might be dethroned. I don't see anyone at Lt Heavy beating Jackson though Vacant St. Pierre Henderson Jackson Nogueira
Roid Shark is coming back so if BJ does vacate the title then Sherk could win it back. (Hopefully not) I think Sylvia will beat Nog. I think A.Silva will hold on to beat Hendo by outstriking him on the outside in a very close fight. (my most anticipated for 2008 )
Nogueira has to submit Sylvia or he'll lose the decision... he'll lose for two reasons.. 1 even if he wins , they'll give it to sylvia. (favoritism) 2 or even though sylvia is pure garbage as a fighter , he can always lay and pray and do his best not to get subbed.. Nog should be able to win this easy... but anything can happen.. and seeing nog almost getting KOed by Herring is not a good sign... He already beat that guy 2 times but looked average in the 3Rd...maybe it's the beginning of the end for Nogueira..
Doubtful. Judging in the UFC for the whole is very good. (only exception being Hamill-Bisping) Not really, Sylvia never lays and prays, he'll want to keep it standing as he always does. This will be a striking affair with Sylvia keeping Nog at the end of his jab and superior reach. Nog doesn't have the wrestling and explosiveness to take Sylvia down, I predict Sylvia will outbox Nog to a boring decision.
exactly he'll do enough..to win rounds and pose to a victory...although nog's standup isn't bad.....i'm not sure if he can bring Tim down.
Favoritism? Dana hates Tim as much as anybody....why would he want a heavyweight champ that usually fights a boring fight and get's boed almost every fight....it doesn't do the UFC anygood having Tim having pose off's during fights.
