    Practically all the ATG fighters fall into this category. I'd mention Arturo Gatti, Mickey Ward, Emanuel Augustus, Lamon Brewster to name a few as well.

    Cant believe no one mentioned Glen Johnson. The man called the road warrior always seemed to be fighting in his opponets backyard which resulted in some questionable decision losses. Johnsons record would look much better if some of those close calls went his way

    Johnson usually left it all in the ring too. always gave 100% effort

    2 recent examples who fit the bill; Timothy Bradley and Carl Froch can look back on their careers and be proud of the heart/fighting spirit each displayed.

    Larry Holmes was the first name to spring to mind. As a champion showed incredible feats of survival and will-to-win.
