I was considering listing a few, but there are a lot.

Edit: At the same time, most top tier fighters have a real chance to beat the best guy in their division, even if they're not expected to. So, it's possible for any of them basically to take the title if they ever got the fight, etc..

2 belts is good for the division...4 is stupid...the wbo and ibf shouldn't count...not that the wbc and the wba are any better but they were the first titles

Lots of guys. Even a lot of these all-time greats who get called 3,4,5, or 6 time world champions would have their championship numbers severely downgraded if there were only one champ per division.

You're right on the money there Thom.

Forrest became lineal champ when he beat up on Shane Mosley and unified the titles, who was then beaten by Mayorga, who was beaten by Cory Spinks, who was beaten by Zab Judah, who was beaten by Carlos Baldomir, who was beaten by Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Currently there is no real consensus welterweight champ.

alex arthur was only interim champion so that doesn't really count.
but yeah i agree, none of warren's current crop would beat the best fighter's in their division.
