came out looking like they did during their ring entrances after their "fight"? No one is marked up and there is no blood? I have seen better action during sparring sessions than the garbage I saw last night. What bothers me most is that NONE of the punches that Canelo landed seemed to really bother Jacobs and yet he was content to sit back and wait for Canelo to bring the fight to him. No one can tell me that Jacobs wasn't aware that he was fighting the "house" fighter and that he knew he would have to lay it all on the line to get a victory. I HATE to say fights are fixed, but when you use logic in dissecting a fight, it just stinks to high heaven when you see performances like this. I believe it was round four that Jacob threw four or five consecutive jabs, that appeared telegraphed as hell, and all went right over Canelo's head. I mean WTF? Jacob's corner was imploring him to not sit back and wait and Jacobs still looked like his heart rate was that of a fat man sitting on a couch stuffing his face while watching Sunday Night Football. When Jacobs did put his foot on the pedal, he did well and looked like he might get something going only to stop the action. It's as if he remembered that he was going off script and needed to slow it down. Anyhow, GGG was right. This looked more like a sparring session than a title unification fight.
