Im talking about guys who didnt do anything specatuaclar... Im talking guys with limited or average speed, non ko punchers, athletic etc etc... The natural talents that carry certain fighters along way.. No matter what if u dont have any of those 3 you have to have lot of heart,at least average chin(for the most part:think) or be aggressive.

    Some that come to mind

Daniel ZARRAGOZA --Slick skills but IMO average speed, power,,,,,Just became a cagey vet who ended up being a HOF.

Ossie Ocasio- Pretty quick and slick at hw..but at Cw not so much, and kind of boring but cagey enough to be a long time title holder and one of the best CW resumes of all time.

Gianfranco ROsi- Once in a while showed power but think that was from just being awkward and catching unsuspecting opponents. Chin not that great..Nothing that good but very effective and also has some good wins and lot of defenses.

Julio Gonzalez average punch, slow, didnt use his height adv, would go down but alwas got up.

Clinton Woods--- Kind of the same but a little more talent^^

Troy Dorsey- showed power in a couple fights but for the most part just a tough hustler did nothng good,, Just tough and in great shape

Jphn RUiz- Average power,Average speed, boring, average chin.. BUt look at his resume.. SOme damn good wins dont you think?

Fabrice Tiozzo--Decent power,so so chin, good wins or for the most part gave good fighters tough fights.

Lot of other guys,,from old timers to current..But lets see what you think?

Israel Vazquez.Just a determined pressure fighter with solid power that managed to build up a very good resume over the years.

I do think he was very fortunate with some decisions and stoppages that went his way, though.Gift decisions over some very average boxers, and a few fortunate stoppages in his favour.

I thought he had good power and and kind of quick...His heart exceeded his skills, but not my definition of a limited fighter.

Imo opinion if you throuw him in then theres a whole lot of guys you can throw in

David DIaz and maybe Raul Marquez (but he had decent power).

    Paper accomplishment wise, Joe Calzaghe.

His resume is dire, but if his paper accomplishments are listed they sound impressive to a casual fan:

10-year world title reign, won all major belts in his division, 1st man to hold two The Ring titles at the same time, retired undefeated.

If all you knew about the man was this description, you would have no way to realize he was a workrate-oriented yet technically deficient cherrypicker supreme.

I was going to say Pipino Cuevas, he had an average record also going into his first world title fight but built an almost hof legacy. But one thing he had was one punch ko power, so I suppose he shouldnt be listed

Ok, if punching power is a "skill," then I withdraw my Foreman nomination. But in most cases, I thought punching power was just a natural, God-given gift?

:think maybe, but a lot of fighters can have god given punching ability and but dont have the ability to land it you know. It does take some skill to be a true puncher at the world class level, where your opponents are very good defensively and often have good chins. And the TS had listed skills like power and speed as a skill so im answering his question based on the fact that hes listing these natural ''talents'' as skills. Although you are probably right, natural abilities shouldnt be confused with boxing ability, countering, timing, ability to fight inside and outside etc:good

Lennox Lewis, Joe Calzaghe, both of whom I feel weren't very good skillwise yet had accomplished many things on paper.
