I am almost shocked to see how quickly so many seem to discount a FAR superior athlete like Klitschko and dismiss his chances to learn from the first fight and adapt his style in order to reclaim his titles.

I don't see Fury as the quality fighter some of you apparently do His size and reach will be dealt with effectively in the rematch. Wlad adapted his style and embarrassed both Peter snd Brewster.

Wlad is not what you'd call a depleted fighter from age. I just don't see age as being the factor some do. You can bet that he will now make a focused, gym-honed effort to establish an effective and consistent assault to KO Fury; He will right this wrong and prove the quality of fighter he is

I am picking Wlad to win with about a 75% chance to Fury's 25%

Your pick and at what percentage?

What makes Wladimir a far superior athlete? His look? I agree that he's the superior athlete but much less so at 40 and that Fury's athletic skills are underrated because of his image.

Wlad is far superior athlete and boxer , but he's shot , that's why I think it's 80-20 fight in favor of fury.

Wlad is only going to get older...If Fury comes in just as good a shape he will beat him again and maybe knock him out...

If the first 6 rounds go the same then Wlad will be FORCED to bring the fight to Fury leaving himself open...Fury will counter him & stop him.

Wlad is shot, don't think he's got it in him anymore to beat fury, such a sad sight seeing such a vastly superior boxer losing to someone like fury.

Wlad isn't shot though. He would still beat the rest of the division with one hand behind his back. Fury is superior in style & adaptability. I don't think any version of Wlad has a speed & stamina advantage over Fury.

If Wlad was so great he would have been able to make something of a bad situation (slowly getting beat from the outside by 2,3 punches per round) ...The dude couldn't even beat Fury on the inside..he didn't throw one punch there...and his body work was non existent.

Hey dominated and beat Jennings ( but granted, not impressively some of his other wins) and then comes the recent loss. So, we now piece the two fights together and decide this two fight piece of his career is Wlads current state. And that he is now shot due to age

    that's BS
The rematch will prove what I am saying

I am putting $$$ on it

Of course he has a good chance to win, he is so much more experience and hits damn hard. Fury has to be more cautious early on as the Klitschko camp will undoubtedly have gone through the tape of the first fight frame by frame looking for oppurtunities to throw and land lead power shots, which will be Wlads best chance of success.

I think Wlad will be more aggressive this time around and take some chances.... He needs to be. He can knock Fury out no problem if he just let's his hands go.

That's a big if. He's always scared of a counter shot and it keeps him from letting his hands go.
When was the last time he really let his hands fly before he had his opponent hurt?
If he doesn't take a chance he'll lose again.

How will he land lead power shots if he can't land jabs to set them up? Also, how will Wlad deal with Fury's feints and length?

Maybe he's really finished and can't pull the trigger anymore..... IDK. But I think he has enough left in the tank to win with the right mindset/gameplan. There's a lot of things that make the rematch interesting. I'm curious how Fury will show up. Fury's the kind of guy who's made a habit of letting himself go in between fights and there's definitely a feel to me at least that he COULD lose motivation and not take the rematch seriously... Which would give Wlad a very good chance at winning even if he's shot and has problems pulling the trigger. I'm very much looking forward to this fight, a lot more than I was the first. There's a lot of things good or bad that could happen leading up to this one, a lot to think about this time around.......

    :think

The definition of a lead punch is one that isn't set up with another punch like a jab. I don't know if he will be able to do it, but I was just saying that would be his best strategy.
