No anti-Fury nonsense here, I really like the fella and hope he puts on a great performance tonight, but I was wondering how many out there think there is much chance of him losing tonight?

I commend him for fighing Kingpin, I think he is a good fighter and potentially one of the toughest matches out for there (apart from the brothers of course).

I know Kingpin often gives his best performance pre-fight, but he has got the tools to cause most heavyweights problems and he is a massive step-up for our man in my opinion.

I will be very impressed if Tyson stops him, he is one very tough guy and if Fury can do what Vitali couldn't then it will be a big statement.

What are the chances of Kingpin winning? :think

Whatever happens tonight I am really impressed with Fury's willingness to test himself against an opponent who could cause him all manner of problems. :happy

I can't wait for this one.....................

    War Fury!!!! :bbb

It'll be a Fury win. Probably be tight-ish rounds as Fury won't land a lot clean but he's not knocking Johnson out.

There's probably a decent chance of one. Fury's turning into quite a good heavyweight, his jab is accurate, quick and quite powerful and he's got good stamina to keep putting it out there. He mixes his shots up quite well too and when he wants can whack a bit.

But at times he's just so open to that overhand right, and his chin seems to be a little shaky. I think Fury will do the business tonight in a good fight and look well doing it, but there's a serious danger there from Johnson. He's no mug !

An unusual statement from an Irish boxing fan. Fury being successful and fighting at a high level could potentially produce more cards (and big cards particularly) in Ireland, providing other Irish boxers with more work and the Irish boxing public more action to view.

A Fury victory tonight is good for Irish fans.

:deal Kingpin can be pretty slick when he can be bothered

:deal I agree about the overhand right.

I'm not too sure what Kingpins power is like, but from what I've seen he can bang a bit; if he gets enough right hands through there may be trouble.

I think our man will prevail but I totally agree that Kingpin is no mug, he is a very creditable opponent in my opinion and is a tougher fight than Boystov would have been.

I think he's decided he's Irish this week so you can support a fellow countryman as well as the support.

Small chance of an upset for me.

I think it's his biggest test, I wouldn't be surprised to see an upset.

With Furys inconsistent approach to fights and his chin then there could always be an upset. Will he box, brawl, go southpaw, try something stupid, come in shape etc

The safe money is that Fury looks in shape and seems to be working on his boxing skills so an improvement and a victory looks probable.

Good chance at the upset here.
I want Fury to win, although I'm not quite sold on the guy. But I really won't be surprised when he gets KO'd by a Safetypin right.

If Johnson is in top shape, he can win. But I do not think he is. It is just a case of if Fury can stop him, now that would be an impressive statement...
