Extra padding? Hardly, they are stock gloves. You make it sound like TMT is stuffing them with extra cushioning when the reality is Maidana's team got themselves in this position by doing exactly the opposite and removing padding from the knuckles of the first choice gloves they submitted.

    Remote.

...but given how the 1st went, you can't say impossible.

Father time's undefeated streak is muuuuuuuuuuch longer than just 46-0. :deal

    Better question would be......

What are the chances of Chino landing a flush shot and not recklessly windmilling when he gets Floyd close to the ropes

I'm not a huge Floyd fan but effective aggression and clean shots from Chino were non existent in the first fight, I see nothing to suggest the 2nd fight won't be more of the same

None to none. Maidana's power is overrated plus Floyd possess a great chin so this just isn't going to happen.

he would need to land multiple shots to hurt and stop him. plus with the gloves hes got on, dont count on it

Place a bet for a Maidana KO, if it happens you will be rich. That's what I'd say the chances are.

Saying zero goes against all logic, it's a fight, and even if Maidana is technically inferior, plus Floyd has an entire fight to learn from, plus he is great at adapting, unexpected things can and do happen....that said, it's pretty close to zero.

Every fighter can be knocked out by the right punch just look at Duran who had a iron chin saying Floyd would never get knocked out is basically saying he is not human.

Duran was fighting Hearns, Mayweather is fighting Maidana. Huge difference but you are right. There is always a chance, no matter how miniscule.

Ima play the percentage angle and say 50-50 chance of a Maidana KO

Either he will, or he wont.

Not a great chance IMO. Although, it is boxing. Anything can happen.

However, when you have a master of defence in Floyd & a backyard brawler style from Maidana the odds for Maidana are not in his favour.

Also, Maidana landed many clean shots on Floyd last time...& Floyd was never really hurt.

I dont see how Maidana does any better in this fight tbh. I see it being a wide UD for Floyd.

Maidana's chances of winning are equal to those of an icecube in hell.

Not good, but I give him a minor chance of scoring a KD.
