    - Miguel Cotto is (down and) out

    - Antonio Margarito is not preferred

    - Floyd Mayweather Jr. is retired

    - Felix Trinidad won’t fight below 164 pounds.

So the chances of Manny Pacquiao emerging as Oscar De La Hoya’s final opponent in December looms bright.

Pacquiao stated that he will train for 11 weeks in the US for this fight and be in his BEST form ever.

Run Hoya run (but i think the old and partially shot Hoya will have difficulty in running) ...

Oscar is shot and Pacquiao is small. This fight is an exhibition for the mainstream fans, not the boxing fans.

Hoya said he was provoked by statement from Team Pacquiao that PAC could possibly KO Hoya.

PAC did called out some boxers lately. He called out Hatton and then Hoya. PAC also mentioned to lure out PBF from retirement for a fight down the road depending if PAC can get a shot on Hoya and Hatton.

Maybe boxing fans can take note from the small Pacquiao on how to chop down a partially shot giant. What boxing style and skills will Pacquiao use to cut down the giant? It's gonna be interesting and intriguing...

Yep, beating the no. 1 P4P best boxer in the world on your farewell fight will say much about your accomplishments in boxing.

On the other hand, there's no shame in losing to the recognized no. 1 P4P best boxer in the world.

    It's actually a win-win situation for Oscar.

A Mexican shoot out against Margarito in Los Angeles. What could be better than that?! Or how about Oscar going to fight Pac in Manila?

Hoya-Margo is only a Mexican affair while Hoya-PAC is more of a worldwide affair.

I still think that Hoya-PAC will generate more money, more interest and publicity than Hoya-Margo that's why Hoya not even mentioning Margo's name as possible opponent.
