    No
Make the weight and rehydrate to what is natural. There is no advantage if you rehydrate 20 lbs and the other guy 10 lbs. In fact for me, If you had to cut all that water, I know I'm gonna stop you.

No, for me if you can fight healthily within 10 pounds of the weight class you need to fight in a higher division.

why, its no advantage. If you make the weight you make the weight. Weight bullying is a myth!

I never called anyone a weight bully.

But a fighter shouldn't be calling himself a Lightweight if he has to actually fight as a LMW ffs

Agreed , Tank must be tired taking an unofficial break mid round and all , maybe take a year off somewhere warm , maybe get himself an English language tutor whilst he at it so the rest of the world can understand WTF he's actually saying, Do it for the fans .

What's the point of a weigh in that's so far removed from the actual fighting weight.

People wanting to fight at 150 and pretend they're lightweights lol

He won't fight either of these guys now and I doubt he'll get within shouting distance of Roach either.

Maybe he'll retire with more money than any sane person could ever spend or he'll find an unrated or fringe contender (and I mean wayyyyy out on the fringe) to pad his accounts.

In a strange way, I'd call this being pretty smart actually.

    On rehydration clauses...

One day there might be a genetic test or something that can put people in certain weight classes based on their bodies potential like bone density and general build. That might be interesting as every fighter could just find his perfect weight, some would bulk up like joshua even in the lower weight classes and others (the better ones) would go for speed and agility.

But as long as we have weight classes and people like maybe garcia gained their fame partly by gaining a lot of weight after the weigh in and then dominating their opponents - you just don't get to take credit when beating them on a rehydration clause as if you beat them on the terms they made their fame with... You just did not beat the normal version we got to see before.

So same rules for everyone all the time. Everything else is a-side bs that is just for the casuals and fanboys out there because who else that knows about this stuff would support it...
