now again the glass jaw factor, and extended to cubans... casamayor had one of the best chins we have seen ever, finally got stop for the first time by JMM when he was already way past his time.3 times with corrales, besides castillo,freitas,campbell...
He's got a good chin, but like someone said. Vitali beats guys with iron jaws. So i don't see this too much of a factor in this fight. Anybody that takes a barrage of punches from Vitali, over 12 rounds is ****ed anyway....
If he has an iron chin he may still be in trouble because we've seen him cut before. Maybe he'll be standing but maybe his face will become a bloody mess.
Excellent observation. There is some precedent for these Cuban stars having glass jaws. And if indeed Solis's chin is as shaky as you expect, you will have been proven to be prescient!!! I think it may take a little longer, but I do believe that Solis's whiskers will be exposed to have been less than solid.
Show's how much you know.. they use 10oz gloves for matches in amateur you tool. They only use 12-16oz for sparring. Do some research before you type your bull****.
Savon wouldve beaten both the klit brothers and lennox lewis had he turned pro and riddick bowe also :hat
Solis, needs to use all his skills in this fight. Solis, also needs to take chances in this fight too and he may land something BIG and can go from there.
This fight goes for a minimum of 9 full rounds to appease RTL who want Klitschko fights to go on for a while. The jaw that Solis possesses is above average.
Solis has a solid chin if he take's a brutal beating over 9-11 rounds and eventually gets taken out or quit's that doesn't mean he has a glass chin just means like most other Vitali opponents he eventually succumbs to the accumulated beating or quits rather than getting brain damage, Vitali really is a dangerous fighter he hits hard but not hard enough to knockdown or KO other fighters outright(anymore), has a high work rate, and is skilled enough to land clean usually with close to 50% of his shots sometimes more.
