I dont rate Cox at all, too crude, Jennings would jab his head off, was going to go to this event but not sure now with Bellew and Jennings opponents falling by the way side
got a feeling it will get called out and they will get places on cards elsewhere. heard O'Donnell is fighting Lenny Daws for the Birtish on July 9th at York Hall.
He beats everybody on that list. McKenzie is crude and won't pace himself, Bellew will wear him down subtlely and keep his composure. McIntosh has flaws as well, pretty athletic but he can't compete with Bellew's technical skills and he won't deal with the power.
Another year :yikes Stick him in with any of those now...... he'd put them all away. I get the feeling Warren is going to have to take a risk with Bellew because most less risky options won't be interested.
mckenzie and McIntosh av both been offered the fight mckenzie was happy to accept i think but problems came up, and when McIntosh got offered it his arse went hes said he wouldn't take the fight its only recently in boxing news he said he'd like the fight! its very very hard to match bomber but that will change soon hopefully!
Tony is going to have to be moved quickly, and to be fair that's the way he wants it. People don't like messing with power and he'll continue to struggle to get fights.
Mike Shinfield, Ovill McKenzie's manager: Ovill is applying for his British passport at the moment so rather than jump in against Bellew straight away, we decided the best way would be to get him a couple more fights and then go for the British title (currently owned by Nathan Cleverly) first by which time Ovill will have his British passport.
Tony Bellew: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=6076420&postcount=57 "Sorry guys but this fight is now dead in the water as the garden knome has completly said NO!! Ovil had agreed terms as had myself but the dwarf has put an end to it and made sure you all miss out on an exciting fight..."
Not bad, but not great. Should be easy enough for Bellew, but you can't really expect a great opponent to come in with under a month to go to the fight.
