Changed my mind - Canelo is going to beat GGG

I pick Golovkin to beat El Pollo by UD, TKO or KO, however, I expect KO as Oscar will own the referee, judges, boxing commission and Bob Bennett the liar..................

I'm pretty close to switching my official pick up to Canelo, despite being a massive GGG fan.

Just a hunch that the timing is right for Alvarez to pull the upset off. He's peaking at the right time, and I haven't liked GGG's body language the last 2 fights.

Technically, it boils down to whether Canelo can successfully counter the jab (which he's been working feverishly on to become very good at) or not. Neither outcome would surprise me at this point, but the fight probably hinges on it for me.

 

Canelo couldn't stop Cotto. He isn't stopping GGG. If he wins it will be by decision. If GGG wins it will be by KO.

 

He doesn't think Golovkin looks Hungry.

 

Purely based on how drunk he is.

 

I predict a close fight with most scoring for Golovkin that Canelo gets the decision on. Canelo could deserve the W, too, so it seems the logical pick for me.

 

Ggg picks Canelo apart with the jab. Canelo will have his moments countering the jab, but Ggg is deadliest especially when he counters. When Canelo stops using his footwork and Ggg has him against the ropes, it will be over. It will be like Arguello-Mancini with Canelo giving a great account of himself, but the difference will show between a very good fighter and a great one.

I tried it but i can't favour Canelo based on anything, it's not possible even though i like both fighters.
