honestly? lack of competition but maybe I should reconsider based on his skill set and the lack of good comp in his weight class not being any fault of his own. would like to see him vs Archie.

Just checked my April rankings and I had Froch at 15 and Bute at 11....you'd think the Huge win would jump him more than 2 spots but despite Froch being the sports ultimate warrior and the guy that faces more top level opposition than anyone I couldn't justify ranking him higher than anyone I have above him. Based on technical ability and skil set which also need to be factored in along with resume.

    Couldn't agree more.A bit like Gatti,he'll rarely make a P4P list but'll always be a favourite.
No complaints from me where you have him.:good

no doubt, that's a glaring omission although Lampley's initial Gatti list was made before the Bute fight and the last memory of Froch before that was a one sided ass whupping from Ward. I'd still give him Gatti list honors based on his fights before that vs Kessler etc.... but I'm thinking Lampley left him off cause of the lopsided loss to Ward and cause he figured Bute was gonna whup him. next list will surely have Froch ranked highly or Lampley hates the british :hey:hey

Any person who is unbiased has Andre Ward #1 on their P4P lists.

Seriously, what have the others done to deserve it?

Floyd Mayweather - Fought like 3 or 4 times in the last 5 years, while ducking top competition.

Manny Pacquiao - Coming off a loss to Bradley.

Juan Manuel Marquez - Coming off a loss to Pacquiao.

Compare that to Andre Ward, who is the reigning Fighter of the Year, and is coming off a victory of Carl Froch, who brutally knocked out Lucian Bute.
