hey Prince of Whales! I think it has merit... read the comment no Joe has never been out of his comfort zone really not the way he will be against Bhop and one of the reasons is because: again read my damn comment
Please elaborate because I have read your comment again (like you asked) but still cannot see any substance to what you're trying to say. Humour me with specifics.
this is a pretty even fight and i both like bhop and calzaghe. in this fight, im leaning towards bhop though
I hope the occasion doesn't get to Calzaghe, I know he's fought abroad before but this is on a bigger stage. It would have been better for him if he had at least one more fight over there first, maybe had the Manfredo fight over there for example.
Yeah. But deep down, I know you really want Joe to stay undefeated for a showdown with Pavlik. I think this may be your problem. :yep
John, there's no chance in hell of that happening! Joe's too relaxed these days. He doesn't feel like this is such a big thing for him as he's never really had burning ambitions to fight in the States. He just wanted the fight with Hopkins and to make that happen, it had to be there. Joe has nothing to prove to anyone but himself. There'll always be his doubters and people trying to discredit him but he's been in the game at the top for long enough to know what goes on. I really don't see the location being any problem at all. Training has gone very well, he's injury free, trained properly, hasn't struggled to make weight and those are the important things to him.
Gut feeling man! Kinda like the one I had the morning I came on here and wrote the essay on why Winky was gonna stop Bernard. Much like the day I wrote the 100 sentence bible about mexican pride, determination and refreshed motivation and heart was gonna help Morales destroy Pac in the rubber match :rofl :rofl :rofl You follow me?
I don't think it will happen. I used to think Calzaghe was thick years back but when I see him interviewed now he seems very confident and composed. I always thought Hatton was pretty unflappable but he lost his head a bit leading up to the Mayweather fight, just hope it doesn't happen to Joe.
I posted something on here about 2 weeks before Hatton-Mayweather saying how Hatton was ready to fight too soon. He was so worked up and intense that he lost that fight well before he got in the ring with Floyd. Regardless of the outcome was and what might have been, Hatton overcooked it. I don't get that impression watching this: [yt]r1p6JCWeUJ8[/yt][yt]j-Y-4HYYPmQ[/yt]
