source/sauce/sorss?? (although it seems a very plausible scenario)

btw is the same true of fighters? has hennessy been approached by boxers looking to get greater coverage/exposure?

Agree! Hennessey is probably putting British boxing out there more than any other promoter!

I think he does deserves the criticism but I think 5 deserves even more the shows are poorly produced and advertised the shows also so far have had a horrible carney feel to It akin to those awful old Cage Rage shows.

    Hennessy's cards are awful.

I really wish someone like Hatton had gotten the contract.

I know what you mean about the production style but it could help attract casual fans, perhaps not the type of fans we'd want but boxing can't afford to be snobbish. I found the commentary and analysis pretty irritating on Saturday, but in fairness it's targetted at an audience with very little knowledge of the sport.

I'm happy with main event and co-main event. At most, highlights of the undercards i.e. main moments and ko's. I have no interest in mind numbing undercards. **** matchmaking and no incentive for the boxers. Give the undercard fighters bonuses, the possibility of TV time etc

Can Hennessey ever produce a 3 hour show which can match a UFC or even Strikeforce card? He'll never accomplish that in his entire career so I hope they don't go to 3 hours as it'll turn fans away.
