It's an ideal plan in an ideal world. The problem has always been that BBC and ITV fighters will leave for the glory paydays of pay-per-view. This has been the ITV and BBC executive argument against continued investment. So, with C5 and Primetime all part of the same company the C5 TV fighters would not have to leave the company. In theory it is a beauty. Mick H did try very hard to get ITV to open up a pay-per-view arm. Either way, the Fury v Chisora fight will have more viewers than any fight in Britain since Froch beat Pascal. Adios.
