Interesting move. Prime time is described as partner to channel 5 wonder what that means in real terms. Are we going to get young fighters coming throu for free on 5 then moved over to prime time when they get into title fights???

article is on the dailymail and the sun

It's an ideal plan in an ideal world. The problem has always been that BBC and ITV fighters will leave for the glory paydays of pay-per-view. This has been the ITV and BBC executive argument against continued investment. So, with C5 and Primetime all part of the same company the C5 TV fighters would not have to leave the company.
In theory it is a beauty.
Mick H did try very hard to get ITV to open up a pay-per-view arm.
Either way, the Fury v Chisora fight will have more viewers than any fight in Britain since Froch beat Pascal.

    Adios.

Yes it is a great model. Hopefully it will work. Problem is that Channel 5 never comes across as a professional company - their presentation is awful. Are you involved in any way Steve?

Free young fights on C5 with PPV cards on Primetime would be great.

the singer Adam Faith's last words before he died were:

Could be a good way for him to recruit new fighters if he can promise them prime time on channel 5.
