    They just replied to a lot of tweets about boxing.

    interesting so it seems there is some hope then. maybe ch5 are only going to show Fury from now on or cards stacked with all of Mad Micks fighters.

    Eubank Jr hasn't boxed in a while now and im sure he was scheduled too this month?
    Boxrec now quotes him as fighting April 20th in the US so not sure whats going on there.

    His development has slowed, Ch5 should have had him on this year by now if they were still going ahead with boxing imo

    Sounds more like an issue with hennessy rather than the channel. Maybe he's asking for more money?

    It's easy to read too much into this. The fact is, DeGale was scheduled to face an average opponent and in this case C5 has decided that it isn't worth showing.

    Present C5 with Fury/Cunningham or DeGale vs anyone in the top 20 at SMW and C5 may decide to show it.

    Nice though but it wouldn't work. BoxingNews tried a few years ago and it didn't get much interest. Personally I just don't think Boxing works on Terrestrial TV anymore.

    The only thing that would work was if we petitioned the govermant to get boxing added to the Ofcom Protected Sports list. It's what stop the World Cup and 6 Nationa being on Sky Sports.

    I think that it would be realistic to try and get the goverment to add any world title fight involving a British fighter to Category B which states that "These events may be shown on a subscription channel if highlights are made available to a free-to-air channel." .

    I think thats wishful thinking. There not showing Fury v Cunningham by the sounds of it.
