Charles "Lulu" Constantino VS Bernard Taylor Over 15 rounds For me this goes the 15 round distance definitely but I am not sure which boxer takes the decision
Ah, a name from the past Lulu Constantino...I saw Constantino early in his career when Lulu won 56 fights in a row. He came from the same neighberhood as Rocky Graziano,and was a marvelous boxer with no punch.We all were positive he would become FW champion, but a chap by the name of Willie Pep came into the picture and took over the featherweight division.. Don't know about Bernard Taylor to pass an opinion, but Lulu Constantino was a helluva boxer who came along the wrong era...
Taylor had strong boxing ability, but like Howard Davis Jr, couldn't quite make it past the hump, plus his competition wasn't as strong.So Constantino wins, probably by decision.

Surf, since I was a young pup, and with my dad seeing Lulu Constantino in NY fight clubs, his name sounded like Constantino. Some record books record him as Costantino, and other sources as Constantino...But as good ole Billy Shakespeare wrote, "a rose by any other name will smell as sweet". He was a helluva boxer, but not much as a puncher though... He had the misfortune to come along the same time as Willie Pep, Chalky Wright, Sal Bartola, and Sandy Saddler....
