    Very true

    It breeds a certain toughness

    AJ is soft

I predicted same for Lucaz vs Danny

    Many laughed at me

    Very true.
Toughness is molded early which is why Nichols almost did a number on Wilder as he was raised in the roughest trailer parks around...

Actually this is one reason why I soured on Martin in the recent weeks since he's depending heavily on his upbringing for the edge in this fight. Too much for my tastes and a possible red flag. The 'hood wasn't the reason why American Black boxers were better, it was skills. I don't think it speaks to a person's toughness, maybe determination to not lose but that can go the other way after a loss quick. AJ is wannabe tough, sold drugs when he didn't have to, still listens to 2pac (20 year old gangsta rap music), seems to act "suburban" if you know what I mean. Still, skills will pay the bills in this matchup. I think it's a myth that your upbringing predicts how tough you are.

Joshua has done time, Martin hasn't. Not that it matters, this thread is stupid. Joshua destroys Martin in 3.

I give Martin a punchers chance, as this is the heavyweights and if you get caught you can get your head taken off.

I just hope AJ has learned not to rush in when the adrenaline kicks in because he will get caught one day.

Going for AJ inside 4 rounds.

If he was ever to be 'caught' it would be today, as Martin is a tricky lefty that's pretty slick AND not much tape is out on him to really study.

I think AJ does the job though.

  13. Stop the lies, AJ didn't do no time, he got a slap on the wrist for selling drugs that he didn't need to sell to build up his false gangster image.

This guy's parent afforded him a place in a private school. You can't claim to be from the streets and be attending rich folk school.
