Yep, Tyson Fury wanted No parts of the great Charles Martin. This Charles Martin guy is one of the greats. His resume is almost as good as Wilders. He's awesome ... dude....

Why should he have been stripped?

He is supposed to, like every other champion, fight one mandatory per year. He won the title one year ago today. He was willing and able to fight Sasha last night -- within the 1-year time frame of winning the title -- but instead Povetkin's camp sent an emissary to the WBC convention in China and said he couldn't be ready to fight.

Now he fought less than ONE ROUND in May and yet waited until November to fight a tune-up, when instead he could have waited less than 2 months and fought for the title.

Fury ELECTED to drop the belt. He said, "No, I will not fight the mandatory within the proscribed time frame." Therefore he was stripped. He's the ducker here.

He wanted no part of the IBF! It was clearly the biggest challenge to keep all the belts like a true champ, so he decided to uppercut himself then came up with the conclusion to give up the belt and take a loss to Wlad in the rematch:deal

Stupid, it was Glazkov who was the IBF mandatory...

You mean that Fury ducked Glazkov by taking on Wladimir focking Klitschko once again?

    IBF rules from there website

If the referee determines that a boxer has been accidentally injured and the bout cannot continue,
    the referee shall immediatel
    y call a
    Technical Decision
to be awarded to the contestant who is
ahead on the scorecards. If the fight can continue, the referee will notify the Commissioner and
the representative of the IBF/USBA of the accidental foul and if the fight has to be termina
    ted
because of the injury in a later round as a result of the injury, the fight will be awarded in
accordance with the majority vote of the judges as disclosed on the scorecards.
    No Decision
    will
be awarded to any of the contestants if the situation occurs
    before four rounds have been
    completed.

reading there own rules the ibf commisioner of this fight seems to have ignored them
