Glaskov would be even worse, Martin had just finished getting his timing down and was going to light him up.

Would you have made this thread if Glaskov had won? Glaskov ain't **** either.

If Martin is so bad he wont have his title for long, the cream always rises to the top.

I think the thing is is that Glazkov quit in the fight. The ref asked him if he wanted to continue and Glazkov signaled no. Its not like Glazkov tried to continue fighting and the ref wouldn't allow him.

Why check the rules when you can hand another home town bum a belt?

So you expect him to dominate the HW division until he's almost 40? :smoke

I don't particularly like Glazkov either but at least he had previously got in the ring with a few recognisable names. What exactly has Martin's done to become a so called world champion? Shame on the IBF for allowing these two to fight for a belt.

In a common sense world it would have been ruled a no contest. I suspect he won't last too long but at least he made history by becoming a HW champ by TKO without throwing a punch :patsch

Yeah, Martin is very limited. I'd favor Glazkov in a rematch, which they should give him.

I think Martin is decent actually. not the quickest but he has a thudding left.
He was probably on his way to the Ko anyway.
Chisora wants him. I think Martin KOs him.
He might get picked off by the top 5 but hey I think he'll show he's a legit top 10 at least.

    BY WHO???

He was beating Glaskov 3-0 before the stoppage.

He took a decent punch from Czar, not in any way proving his chin, but at least showing a decent set of whiskers. Not gonna fold under the first hard shot he takes.

So.....who the F is gonna beat him????

Is Wilder gonna drop his title to fight him?
Is Fury gonna throw away $12 million to come to St Louis for $2 million on a PBC card?
Is Potvetkin gonna throw away his easy shot at Wilder?
Is Haymon gonna ALLOW Parker or Joshua to fight him?
    Haye?

Who is the magical first defense that's gonna relieve him of his rightly earned IBF title.

Listen.....I usually don't disagree with the vast majority of your opinions, and Im in no way hyping Martin, but FACT is he was quietly working himself into a title fight and the IBF, rightly or WRONGLY(!!!!!!!) stripped Fury and were vying to hand it to Glaskov.

GIFTKOV was losing his @SS last night and got lucky he turned his knee, cuz Martin's L hand was and inch away last night from KHFTO. And it was inevitable that GIFTKOV wasnt getting any home cooking last night and Martin wasn't gonna let him. :good

He should have 3 losses already (Cunningham, Rossy, Scott)

Martin was ranked, so why not?

Martin was already his grand daddy

    Glazkov<Rossy<Dawejko<Martin

Fury should be champ, but be grateful that belt stealing ***** Duva doesn't have a title.

*Martin was winning before the injury

Martin beat the freshest highest ranked contender for his title.

Wilder has made 3 consecutive successful defenses of his title, all by KO and all vs top 30 type opponents.

Chagaev fought who he was supposed to and won back his minor WBA title. He's defending against a solid world level contender in 6 wks.

Not a single one of the current crop of HW titlists are top 30 ATGs ATM.
None of them are top 10s like were both Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.

BUT........all 4 are solid titlists and won their titles fair and square vs decent opponents.

None of the HW titlists are garbage, it's just the post K2 era is gonna be a hot potato era, and likely be the NEXT golden era of HW boxing since the titles will be won, lost and won again by about 20 different guys in the next decade.

Sit back, enjoy, cuz it's no longer be a complete monopoly of the HW division that it was from 2003-2015.:nono

Good point, but the referee WRONGLY scored the second slip a KD, and thus......Czar being unable to continue is RIGHTLY scored a TKO victory for Martin.:thumbsup

Kathy Duva will be picking up pieces of Glassknees shattered jaw if she puts him back in with Martin.

Martin was drilling him with the L hand before the injury and it was only a matter of time before the money punch landed. :patsch
