We now know the date when Martin's phony title run ends, along with his relevance and most likely his career.. April 9th 2016 :nod :happy

His "phony" win over Glazkov who he was beating handily beforehand is better than anything AJ has come close to accomplishing.

April 9th the whole world will see who the real phony is, just another no chinned Audley Harrison. AJ is a hypejob and will be viciously KO'd.

The Prince may never become the King, but he's going to take a step in the right direction after he knocks Joshua out. :deal

All respect to Martin, but he is at least a level below being top flight at this point of his career. If he didn't have a belt, I think that this fight would be largely ignored and seen as an easy-ish logical next step fight for Joshua, rather than a dangerous test that he may be taking too early etc. The fact he has a belt is making this seem more compelling than what it actually is - and that belt was earned by default if we are being honest. The biggest threat to Joshua in this fight is that being the champ too early may be biting off WAY more than a 15 fight relative novice can chew.

Personally, I would favour Whyte over Martin any day of the week if they were to clash. I would even take Chisora over him. He may have a different look stylistically to most of the HW crowd, which makes for an interesting conundrum, but judging by all the video evidence that has been posted in this thread, he looks raw but limited to me.

He was beating Glazkov, he landed a few hard left hands, was controlling the pace and distance. Initially I got a bad impression of Martin but realized I underrated him. If you're an AJ fan then no worries then since you believe he's the real deal and will be able to deal with Martin. What we get is an intriguing matchup and we can't really know until these fighters start fighting each other.

OK, and if Joshua beats him, then who does he have to beat after that before he's not a phony as I've notice you still class Tyson Fury as one?

And if he was handily beating him, then why did you have it even before Glazkov's knee went, and the round you gave to Martin you said was close?:

When I went back and watched the second round, I scored it for Martin, I was trying to not look bias, like everyone always accuses me of.:deal

Whyte is way, and I mean way better than anyone on here thinks, I know Whyte is going to be around a long time and challenge quite a few more titles.

Whyte would beat the ever living hell out of martin and most hw. The only fighters I would be confident in beating Whyte are

    Joshua
    Wilder
    Ortiz
And Haye, but only if haye fights to win and not fighting to not lose.

I see Whyte and fury being a pick em, most of you may disagree but time always proves me right. Time is the only truth of any conclusion.

Not saying Whyte is a great talent, I think he's on the same level as fury, and that's in skill, toughness (mentally & physically). I have to add in the very strong opinion that fury isn't more than tough and big. Pretty much a white whyte

For a guy named Staminakills, I'd have thought the oceans of difference in conditioning between Whyte and Fury would deserve a mention.
