Martin did redeem himself slightly by sticking it out this time. But he quit vs Joshua because he realised very early on he was way, way out of his depth and was gonna get beat up badly. Vs Kownacki he knew he had an opponent not much better than himself and so had a chance if he stuck it out. It's quite different scenarios and so his response was markedly different.

Martin obviously is no world beater, he's not top 20 material, he's a gate keeper at best. This lost only confirms that for me. As a Joshua fan I should be trying to make him out as a contender or decent fighter to bolster Joshua's record but fact is that would be disingenuous, Martin is a terrible fighter a C lister.

we were both wrong but i was waiting for you to give the tubster credit before id give martin any. lol. martin isnt as bad as i made out. but kownacki is better, his punch output is extremely high for a fat hw, and although im not a huge fan yet, some of my favourite fighters are swarmers with outputs like that.

I also backed Martin and there's some virtual sportsbook money I'll never see again. I've not seen the fight yet but I'm heartened that he's at least made a better show of it than the lamentable Joshua performance.
