The fight should be a no contest. That is the worst world title win I have ever seen.

(But I guess IBF have to hand the title to someone since stripping the rightful oener of the belt).

Literally. Yanks going hype mad again rofl.

Whyte may even smash Martin it would be s good fight.

Marin is decent but he will have to show more.

Ortiz is the dark horse big time. Maybe the best other than fury

He was the better fighter in the short time the fight was going for and Glazkov isn't a mug, he's still a good fighter, Martin was lucky in the way it ended but very unlucky as he will only get criticised for something he could not help at all. He's a good fighter but I agree with others in that he does too many things poorly to be a great champion.

The injury really robbed Martin of a chance for some much-needed world caliber rounds. I think some people can read a little too into the Glazkov fight primarily because he's no fan favorite around here-partly his doing, but moreso for the breaks he's had. The fight was over well before it could turn into a whooping or domination as i see it portrayed on here sometimes. It was over before it got out of 2nd gear. I was bullish on Martin-still am- but I really wanted him to get some more experience there. Glazkov was fighting a pretty smart fight with lateral movement, and Charles had just started getting the left in when it was suddenly over. I thought that was the perfect fight for some seasoning.

Big southpaws with a punch are never an easy out, but in many ways, we're back to where we were before this fight. Nobody really knows what he's capable of when matched solidly, though the little bit we saw against Glazkov was a good sign. But if he gets that experience under his belt, watch out. He won't be nearly as popular when it comes to being called out as he is now. As it stands, I can't say I'd like him against the other big, experienced guys just yet. Someone like Ortiz would do a number on him right now.

:yep at least Wilder beat the opponent in front of him. Martin boxed a few rounds and then was given a belt. Talk about underwhelming.

:think There should maybe be a rule about accidental injuries ruled a NC if they occur in the first four rounds.
Joan Guzman got a TD instead of a TKO loss.
