Has anyone seen this guy? For most of 2018 this light heavyweight from Connecticut has been quietly taking up space around the bottom of the WBA top 15 rankings, since capturing their vacant NABA title in February by shutting out Akhmedov leftovers Justin Thomas. I can't remember hearing any buzz about him even on the New England regional scene, and his opposition to date wouldn't seem to justify the world ranking, with Thomas probably standing as his best scalp. Anyway, this coming Sunday will be his first defense of said WBA NABA 175lb title, here in Boston against the hilariously named Israel "Bomaye" Duffus from Puerto Rico. I'm contemplating going, if tickets are cheap enough. Anybody seen him in action? He any fun to watch?
