Charley Burley might be even better than you think.

Thank you very,very much for this vid. I wish there was more footage on Burley. He was incredible to look at and I would get his career set in a heartbeat. He kinda reminds me of RJJ in a way.

There's some similar vids on Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, and I believe Marciano. This one is far and away my favorite, though. These are the things the peons in the General Forum don't understand.

 

I don't doubt his greatness,if there is any criticism on my part it would be that after making his opponent miss ,he does not often appear make him pay for it.
But, I am nitpicking,its like saying, The Mona Lisa has the beginnings of a moustache.

A perennial LHW contender of the era. Not a particularly skilled fighter, but he was tough, gutty, relentless, and had tremendous right hand power.
