Any footage available, Bivins aside? In particular, Moore sounds juicy: "It was a terrific battle..The first round was even as both boys landed sharp punches. Williams gained the second round with a good left jab. Moore ended fast to gain the third round. It was in the fourth round that Williams staggered Moore with a terrific left hook which had him reeling at the bell. Moore came on in the fifth to even matters. Archie came on in the sixth to gain the lead as he landed with both hands. In the seventh Moore worked Williams against the ropes and dropped him for the full count with a smashing right that had Williams dazed for many minutes after the fight."
He fought Archie Moore thrice over a twenty month period; lost them all but gave Moore fits and their rematch was considered a FOTY candidate. He defeated Burley, Satterfield and Baker (who beat Chuvalo, Bivins, and Valdes x2), won a trilogy with Chocolate Kid 2-of-3, and dropped a close one to Bivins. Worth looking into.
Sorry, yeah, he officially lost to Baker. Iffy one, though - in Pittsburgh, one scorecard very close (a drawn round away from being a drawn card to make it a MD), and newspaper reports have Baker never having Williams in remote trouble despite a 30lb advantage.
