Thankfully it just sideswiped where I live, and it was moving so fast, it didn't hang around for very long. So it was 3 pretty crappy hours of 40-60 mph winds, but then after that things settled down. So it was a walk in teh park as far as hurricanes are concerned. Thank Christ, it wasn't a painful and torturous days long cabin fever inducing ordeal like Hurricane Jeanne, Frances, Ian or Irma. The people in the panhandle undoubtedly feel different, because sadly it battered them for hours.
