I've never heard of Charley White as British but his left hook tends to overshadow everything else about him. True, he was born here and that qualifies him as ours as much as Lewis and Fitzsimmons. Great spot. I would put him up there with Owen Moran and Dave Charnley as among the best Brits never to win a world title. Mickey Duff said Charnley was the greatest British fighter he saw never to win a world title.
