If I was Brook and Hearn I would stay very far away from Jermell, you guys saying Brook out boxes him are gonna see your man get stopped again. Kell should go the WBO route and I’m sure that’s what Hearn will be looking to do.
Charlo all wrong for Brook. First sign of adversity and Brook will fold. There is absolutely no indication that Brook can take the power of elite 154s. He has a decent chin as proved against Golovkin and Spence but in both fights he was brutalised. It’s one thing staying standing in a fight. It’s anorher being viciously brutalised.
If his eyes hold up he can be the main player at 154. Charlo’s average and over hyped, Brook can handle him, maybe tko him late. His hardest fight would be spence when he moves up
https://www.badlefthook.com/2018/3/...ermell-charlo-has-to-make-kell-brook-an-offer Kell Brook returned to the ring on Saturday with an emphatic knockout victory over Sergey Rabchenko, and now thoughts are on his future, which could include a clash with WBC 154-pound titleholder Jermell Charlo. Promoter Eddie Hearn says the ball is in their court: “There are some world-class fighters at 154lbs, the champions are all elite and there are some brilliant other fighters in the top five, but Kell can beat them all and be the man, Brook is a bigger name than Charlo but he’s the champion, so make us an offer.” Hearn doesn’t seem to be thinking June, though, when Charlo is set to return in Los Angeles on Showtime, part of the Santa Cruz-Mares II card: ”Rabchenko is a world-class fighter but he’s not elite level, Kell proved he’s an elite-level fighter and we need another step-up in June or July and then we’re ready for the big stuff in the winter.” Brook (37-2, 26 KO) looked sharp this past weekend, but it’s probably wise to get him another fight before challenging for a world title, whether anyone else likes it or not. In the meantime, Charlo (30-0, 15 KO) will fight someone on June 9, Brook will probably fight again around that time, and then maybe they can make a fight later in the year. Or Brook could just wind up fighting press rival Amir Khan. We’ll see.
So Charlo is looking for easy payday fights? Unsurprising given how much of his money just got robbed! Lara and Charlo are considered 1 and 2 in the division and have fought on the same card recently, shouldn't they be getting it on?
Charlo wanted to fight Lara and Hurd but they chose to fight each other, I wouldn’t say Brook is an easy fight and to be honest it’s the best name he could fight outside of the title holders.
What are you talking about? Tell me one example where Brook ever folded? He is a warrior, he didn't quit vs Golovkin, his team threw in a towel and vs Spence he was in a potentially life threatening situation and knew if he carried on he could go blind. You've never seen him fight have you?
I’ve seen almost all of Kell’s fights. It’s my opinion that he will fold in a fight against someone like Charlo and this is based on the fact that he has clearly stated that this is his last year in boxing.
I don’t understand why UK fans over hype brook, he is a good fighter but he has beat no one except for Porter in a very tight fight. His other two step ups he or his corner threw in the towel. Who has Brook beat in the last 3 years that tells you he is better than a Jermell?
He folded against Spence, you just admitted it yourself. His team threw in the towel against GGG but he gave the distress signals for them to do it. Brook is definitely not mentally weak but I wouldn’t give him the title of a warrior from what I’ve seen.
If you put Jo Jo Dan and Frankie Gavin next to Charlo and Hurd it would like a scene from a Yusuf Mack style interracial gangrape porno. Brook has only stepped up twice against guys he no longer has strength and size advantages over and as I said above in both cases he was brutalised. A lot of Brook fans are delusional. Two fights he has suffered onslaughts from big hitters and both times he was pulled out of the fight. Brutalised. Yet his fans are convinced he can beat Charlo. There’s no evidence he can even hang with him in the ring.
