Mell has a skinny torso, he pretty affective at 154lbs that it, Mall is a natural middle to super middleweight. He's more equipped to fight the bigger guys. Derevyanchenko is a rough middleweight and now Super middleweight. I think he would Maul Mell. How would Mell do with a rampaging Murata at middleweight. The Murata that fought GGG was over his mediocer performance problem after his 2nd upset loss, and gave GGG hell. I would favor both those guys over Mell, who knows? I would love to see them fights. My point is Charlo is a junior middleweight, and GGG defended his middleweight title's 22 time's 20 by Ko. Your saying a none of those 22 middleweights is as good as Mell? Thats a stretch. Mell hasnt even fought at middleweight.

How do you rate the Charlos compared to all the fighters GGG fought during his KO streak? The Charlos have never come close to being stopped. Clearly Jermell Charlo just proved that he has what it takes to go the distance against a big puncher. If Jermell fought Prime GGG the same way he fought Canelo, he'd probably lose a decision and go 12 rounds just the same. If the Charlos chose to stand and trade with GGG, they'd probably get hurt and stopped. But they actually have good defense and don't just go in there wreckless like so many of GGG's opponents did. If we learned anything from Saturday or from their careers thus far, it's that the Charlos know how to box and avoid getting hurt or stopped.

This discussion reminds me of my good friend the late great Curtis Cokes. He said " Before we say weve got a future champion in our gym lets see how he fares against David Tua , CJ." When I walked in Curtis Home of Champions gym in Dallas after the fight, Curtis looked over & said " OK C.J. Spread the word about
Ike The President Ibeabuchi !!! he's a comin' " Was a tragedy how it ended up for both Ike & Curtis

Given what just happened between Canelo and Charlo, Mell Charlo despite barely winning a round, clearly has what it takes to get in there, be defensively responsible and go the distance against a guy that is very capable of knocking out most fighters.

So given what we just saw, if the same Jermell Charlo had to fight Prime GGG, do you think he would just go in there and trade with GGG? Of course not, he'd utilize a similar strategy, use footwork, cover up on the ropes, tie GGG up and would likely go the distance probably losing a decision. If we're talking about who would win, that's one thing, but if we're talking about who out of any of GGG's opponents during his KO streak were better boxers than the Charlos, you know the answer.

The Charlos would have a legitimate chance of going the distance against Prime GGG. They may lose a lopside decision, but they would be harder for GGG to stop than anyone he was able to stop during his MW run.

Ive no doubt it looks that way Shadow GGG had a habit of doing that. He never blatantly ducked anyone unlike Canelo & Floyd before him

ROFL YOU!! BELIEVE it didn't because the Vegas mafia gave Ginger a draw & a win he in no way deserved
The vast majority of opinion among the boxing fraternity is GGG deserved to win both fights. If you want to pretend differently that's your choice

B.S. GGG largely outlanded Canelo twice, and was within 10 landed punches in the 3rd fight. Unlike this lopsided fight. Mexicans all over the world know GGG clearly won the first fight. Only complete rare odd balls even suggests otherwise.

Canelo never ducked anyone. He may not have fought GGG when you wanted him to, but he eventually fought him and fought him 3 times. He didn't wait 6 years like Floyd did Manny. And he didn't never fight someone the fans wanted him to fight like Floyd did your boy.

As far as Prime GGG, my point was simply that the Charlos are better boxers than anyone GGG fought during his MW KO run (before he fought Jacobs and Canelo). Would you agree with that? The Charlos may lose a decision, but they are clearly skilled defensive boxers who know how to avoid getting KO'd. Now granted Prime GGG would be the biggest puncher they ever fought, outside of maybe Canelo last night, but still they would be more difficult for Prime GGG to stop than anyone he was able to stop.

For the millionth time, compubox is unreliable and you don't score fights based on compubox. For you to speak of compubox like it means anything just makes you sound like a noob. You score matches based on watching the rounds and judging who was the more effective fighter.

They are a mess. The other Charlo seems to be lined up to fight Crawford's leftovers from divisions below. GGG is too mentally strong for them and probably beats them now, and he seems done that's all we need to know.

Mell was never a threat and wouldn't get GGG'S respect, i think it would look more like the Steve Rolls fight. GGG hits harder than Canelo and has a different method of setting up his shots once he gets in KO mode. Once GGG stuns Charlo jr , it can turn into Steve Rolls, and Mells other apponent Martirosyan. Mell is not as big and powerful as prime Jacobs. People trying that holding baloney with GGG don't work.

Do you agree that the Charlos are better defensively responsible fighters than anyone GGG fought during his KO streak? I mean, maybe GGG manages to stop them, but it would be an actual challenge for GGG to catch them and get either one out of there, compared to the guys he fought during his KO streak. The Charlos have better skills than the competition GGG faced during his run.

Bro, just because you say Canelo landed the better punches don't make it so. Compubox just clarifies that the cash cow was hugely out landed and the rest the fans judge.
