Disgusting from the ref. No way was Cota fit to continue. The KO punch was one punch too many and could have done serious damage. Anyone disagree?
Nope, should of been stopped after first knockdown. You could see cota had no idea what was happening.
Better too early than too late. The mexican could have been seriously hurt. No need for that, that's not what true fans want to see in a boxing match.
After the knockdown the ref should have instructed Cota to raise his hands and walk towards him a couple of steps - that would expose Cota's instability, urging the ref to stop the fight. He was wrong resuming the fight based on Cota's rather loose intention to continue.
