I usually watch a fight and make a judgment after seeing it again on recording to make a final judgment, but scoring it live I had it a draw, but Charlo was the one doing more damage and hurt Derevyanchenko on several occasions. It seemed that Charlo could hurt Derevyanchenko but it took much more effort for Derevyanchenko to hurt Charlo. Charlo was unmarked and Derevyanchenko looked like he was in a car crash or mugged. So a Charlo win is the most logical conclusion. Jermall proved himself at the top level and I would love to see a Charlo vs GGG fight more than the predictable Canelo fight.

I didn't like the Charlo's because of their attitude, but they toned it down a little the last year or two and are proving themselves. They are more tolerable now. I look forward to seeing Jermall against some of the other top fighters. Oh, and Stevens came down from light heavyweight and super middleweight, and Rolls was a Supermiddle and middleweight.

I don’t care how yahoo, google , bing or apple scored it. I trust CST scores and if I remember correctly he scored it 116-112SD. That means Sergey won the fight.

Charlo did a great job and finally proved himself at 160. The judges were awful, but they were garbage the entire night.

I have to say this because it's only fair. When I rewatch fights I watch them on mute and slow motion. I record them on disk. After reviewing Charlo vs Derevyanchenko, I scored it 118-111 for Charlo, 9-2-1 in rounds. Charlo dominated Derevyanchenko with clean hard shots and hard jabs. There was a reason Derevyanchenko's face was rearranged. It was a master class performance. Congratulations to Jermall for a carreer changing performance.

Probably because he is a jackass is the reason fans don't respect him or his brother
BTW I had it 115-113 for Charlo

I thought it was a solid 3 ,at most 4 point win for Charlo, Derev looked like someone stole his lunch money.

    Here's my scorecard...

PP Stands for Power Punches Landed.

Round 1 Derevyanchenko 10-9 4 PPL by SD, 1 PPL by JC
Round 2 Derevyanchenko 10-9 7 PPL by SD, 5 PPL by JC
Round 3 Charlo 10-9 6 PPL by SD, 10 PPL by JC
Round 4 Derevyanchenko 10-9 12 PPL by SD, 16 PPL by JC
Round 5 Derevyanchenko 10-9 13 PPL by SD, 10 PPL by JC
Round 6 Derevyanchenko 10-9 26 PPL by SD, 16 PPL by JC
Round 7 Charlo 10-9, close 20 PPL by SD, 8 PPL by JC *
Round 8 Derevyanchenko 10-9 23 PPL by SD, 16 PPL by JC **
Round 9 Charlo 10-9 9 PPL by SD, 14 PPL by JC
Round 10 Derevyanchenko 10-9 13 PPL by SD, 12 PPL by JC
Round 11 Derevyanchenko 10-9 7 PPL by SD, 7 PPL by JC
Round 12 Derevyanchenko 10-9 23 PPL by SD, 19 PPL by JC

    * Charlo were more vicious.
** Sergiy got rocked, but dominated early.

The only round I was off in was the 4th, but IIRC, Derevyanchenko's shots were heavier.

But hey, I'll give him credit... Jermall landed a lot more jabs, even though they didn't have close to the effect that Sergiy's hooks to the body and head had.

Good, honest scorecard. I’m not sure what criteria people scoring this close, or even worse scoring it for Chenko, are using. You don’t win rounds by having the snot beaten out of you.

The amount of damage inflicted on ones opponent is the single most important factor when scoring a pro boxing match, and Charlo inflicted far more damage on Chenko than vice versa in a clear majority of rounds, 8 at the very least. Chenko was dominated and beaten to a pulp.

Any Ukrainians here that can provide us with Ukrainian press scores? The one Ukrainian boxing journalist i saw on twitter had it for Charlo.

Black skin tends not to swell or cut as easily. Golovkin's face gets red with a jab. SD has paper skin. Light skinned fighters tend to swell/cut easier. Exception being Clenelo.

Derevyanchenko is definitely smaller because Charlo cuts a disgusting amount of weight. Always has.

Regardless of the scores, the verdict was correct. Props to Jermall!
