His trainers said “go all out”, and he ignored them…Him and his brother both suck. Never want to here anyone speaking positively about them again…
It was a silly fight to make. Clearly Charlo didn't have the power to remotely trouble ginger. Agree he could have made more effort but it was all very predictable and pointless fight really.
Nah Lil Charlo said “he did it for the Culture “ Next up Big Charlo to exact $10 Million worth of “revenge” on Canelo for his lil bro’s honor! it was disappointing to see “Lions only” not show up.
This should honestly be a thing. It's ridiculous. If a fighter puts forth an honest effort, then gets hurt and goes into survival mode that is different. This was just no intention of ever trying to win from round 1. And I don't wanna hear any more of this "Lions only" garbage either. These 2 aren't lions, they're lemmings who have been catered to their whole career.
Charlo accomplished his mission, 1# cash in his biggest payday ever, and 2# just survive and go the distance. This was no more than a glorified sparring session.
It was a fixed fight, Charlo got paid to lose. This was probably the worst fight of the year in terms of high profile matchups.
At a minimum you would hope to god any rumour of the next fight being against Jermell's equally pathetic brother have been squashed with that embarassing "effort".
Much as I regret buying this card, no. They both made weight, showed up and danced. Alvarez owns a portion of the blame (albeit a much smaller one) for having the deer cornered in the headlights on several occasions and not stepping on the gas. Not the worst fight I've ever seen. I just feel stupid for having bought it.
After all the BS hyping and fake selling of Charlo you did here, I can't believe you have the nerve to show up. Most with sense told you exactly what was going to happen. You said he was a huge threat. Wrong. People paid money to watch this ****.
BS hyping, fake selling? The fight sold itself. Two big names, two Undisputed Champions. You act like I'm a boxing promoter, and you sound like you want boxing to fail. Fans are gonna pay $$ for what they wanna see. I was hoping for a better fight but it wasn't as horrendous as you're making it sound. This was a great card top to bottom and the main event had its moments, just wasn't the classic it could have been.
People need to take account of how many PPV's actually are worth even a dime. If they did, ppv's would cease to exist
