The fight only makes sense for both JC amd DB for a world title. JC has to move up and DB has no titles without the title it has no value for either guy.

as Canelo is champ he would need to move aside somehow. Otherwise it’s the usual PBC smoke without fire. Essentially it’s not happening

 

Ah, I see what your saying. DB vs JC for vacant title... I can't see Canelo dropping a belt at 168, it would totally undermine his moving up to become undisputed.

Benavidez's best way to a title at 168, is to fight Plant. Although,if he takes Plants belt, he would be in line to fight Canelo anyways... So like you said no chance of JC vs DB.

 

Charlo is on a milk carton in regards to this fight. He said things he should not have and now it’s going to follow him like his comments about Jacobs who he still hasn’t fought.

 

Great fight if it happens and one that both guys desperately need. Charlo has a good shot at negating Benavidez's size and power advantages with his jab, movement, and counterpunching. Benavidez would be a much tougher matchup for Canelo, however.
