I never said he had an advantage. I said he has a chance. I also stated “That being said edge still goes to Canelo Because of the experience & level of opponents fought plus the 18-19months of inactivity for Charlo.” I think we are saying the same thing for the most part.
Inactivity won't affect Charlo imo. He's professional as ****. Well, times 100. He's always in shape and is always training. He said it himself, he doesn't know anything else. He lives in camp 24-7. Exactly the same as Mr Tszyu. He's hitting extremely hard Charlo and is a naturally big dude. Moving up in weight will suit him. Can't wait.
Honestly, I feel if Canelo fights they way he has been fighting and Charlo fights like Bivol, jab, jab and jab again, straight right and keep his distance, it can be an easy win for Charlo.
I'm predicting a disappointing fight. One that makes me regret I paid to see it. This isn't the fight we wanted and that will probably show by how it plays out. Canelo win, either one sided beat down KO or UD.
I understand it's a tall order, but Charlo has the phycal tools to beat Canelo. He just needs to apply them in a similar way Bivol did. As I mentioned before, if Canelo fights without head movement, jab and just walks in loading up, he can be beat. I get that Charlo ain't in the same league as Bivol, but he can use the same tactics. Maybe.
He's not a volume puncher like Bivol, but he punches harder than Bivol. So I don't think he can beat Canelo the same way Bivol did, mainly because one of the reasons why Bivol was able to beat Canelo was because Canelo expended a lot of energy in the early rounds which resulted in him gassing in the middle rounds. I don't think we'll see that from Canelo against Charlo, I think he'll pace himself better and this will give Charlo an opportunity. Yes Charlo needs to work behind the jab, but he also needs to look for opportunities to load up with big shots. So I don't think this will look like Canelo Bivol at all, but Charlo does possess a unique skill set that can give Canelo problems. I could see Charlo doing well early on but he has to remain cautious and disciplined to avoid getting caught with a big punch from Canelo that could change the fight.
You didn’t say he has an advantage, right, I was saying that I don’t think he’ll have an advantage. And yeah, we’re basically saying the same thing, or at least picking the same person anyway, cause nothing about Charlo leads me to believe that after all the punchers that Cinnabunz has fought, he’ll be the one to score a knockdown on him.
He said Charlo punches harder than Bivol? Where in the flat earth did he come up with that? Charlo has never fought above 154. They have never faced the same opponents, so how the **** is he saying Charlo punches harder?
He stay cappin wit his long winded posts defending canelos cherrypicking ways tryna build up lil charlo as a real contender. What more could u ask 4 from canelitas bff
Bunch of weirdos respondin to me on here. By the way lobk, what does weight have to do with how hard you punch. Jermell clearly is a bigger and more explosive puncher than Bivol or pretty much anyone Canelo's fought. Charlo is definitely dangerous. I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of little kids, a bunch of boxing noobs, but I'll remind ya how dangerous of a puncher Mell is since you two seem this clueless :
for sure more then Likely Nelo KTFO Mello As it’s his: 1st time at the weight 16 month layoff for jermello & level of opposition he has faced. = put the house on Nelo
Please do tell us how Charlo punches harder than Bivol. Your dumb ass response "clearly" is as dumb as your flat earth theory. Man you are beyond stupid.
