Ergh. Holyfield, Toney, RJJ. Who the hell is licensing these guys and how do they sleep at night? Hang em up and enjoy the rest of your lives.

So you saw Prizefighter? :-( Toney won't make it to the late rounds.

What a farce. Shame on Charr.

Indeed. There is no excuse for any of his little pants to ever sag too loosely.

    Fook Charr.

What's wrong with these fighters? Fighting James Toney is almost criminal. I mean sure they could put James into the ring VS someone else who's also past his best before date like David Tua, Monte Barrett or someone like that but for an upcoming fighter like Charr to take him on that's just ridiculous.

I think that fans should group together and vow to end Manuel Charr's career by any means necessary should something bad happen to James Toney during their match.

Who was the last decent fighter Toney beat? It was a decade ago. :patsch

How can you compare a 3-round slugfest with a 12 rounder? Prizefighter is just wild brawling, it's not much about boxing.

Anyway, if Toney pulls this off, which I think it can happen, he moves up to the top 10 in WBC rankings.

Those belts are on the line :

    WBC Baltic heavyweight title
WBC CIS and Slovenian Boxing Bureau (CISBB) heavyweight title
    WBC Mediterranean heavyweight title
    WBC International Silver heavyweight title

That's a tremendous chance for Toney to redeem itself at HW and win not only one but four highly respected HW belts in one fight.

It is an opportunity for him. The bout has not been officially confirmed yet.

    What? :patsch

First of all, that's ridiculous. They're boxing matches, 3-rounders or not. You can absolutely gauge how shot a fighter is by watching him in a PF tourney every bit as much as in a 12-rounder. People's reflexes, speed, timing, etc. don't suddenly transform just because the format is a bit different. Really silly thing for you to say.

Besides, secondly, my opinion isn't just based on PF - although it was exemplary of where Toney is right now. In the loss to Browne, and to Lebedev, and in all his recent wins dating back to Oquendo, he is noticeably slow and easier and easier to hit and showing ill effects, able to absorb punches less and less well as times goes on. Gunn and Greer stunned him. Lebedev and Browne - guys who are not worthy of carrying a prime Toney's spitbucket pound for pound - were able to outbox him. Toney is done. Far beyond done, actually. It's a pathetic spectacle at this point. He shouldn't have been sanctioned to even be in PF. The fact that he got by Legg in the quarterfinal - and by TKO, after rocking him and being made to look like a power puncher - just tells you how **** the novice 37 year old Legg is.

First off, he won't pull this off. If he does, so what? He moves up the rankings towards what end? He will never get another major org world title shot. K2 have put together some real farces in recent years, but this would be some next level ****. Neither brother would dare stoop to a Toney defense, even if he somehow became mandatory. It would be a slaughter. He could literally be killed.

Yes, those are Manny Charr belts. Literally some of them may have been invented specifically for him. :yep That means this whole dog and pony show is about not Toney, but Charr. This is a set-up, plain and simple. It's a chance for Charr - like Browne and Lebedev before him - to undeservedly add the name of a faded ATG to his resume, while ostensibly defending his deluge of silly belts and game-of-inching his own ranking onward and upward with yet another light nudge.

Ugh.. Charr just lost the little respect he had from me.

There are viable fighters out there that he could prove his worth against, but he picks James Toney of all people?

Diamond Boy looking more and more like Dirty boy.

Charr already has Vitali on his record, which he lost by robbery. Now he can add the ATG Toney to his impressive record. Great stuff by Manuel.

    Diamond Boy, ATG?

Lets not forget, he hangs with Hasslehoff and Pamela Anderson too.

So you would give his Diamond clarity an "Imperfect" grade? :think

A real clash of the titans battle this potential FOTY candidate, also on the same night as p4p superstar Ali 'body crusher' Raymi. Sounds like an early Christmas present for the fans!
