Ruiz was, even at the time Haye fought him, better than Charr is now. He performance against Vitali was poor, he barely landed a shot and Vitali had his hands by his knees for 4 rounds. Look at how he struggled against Zack Page who doesn't fight in a too dissimilar style to Haye. Haye is of course, stronger, fitter, more powerful and more experienced than Page.
Please John, enlighten us. Share this superior wisdom you so clearly have. Tell us what makes Charrr good. Please break down in detail what it is about Manuel Charrr that causes Haye problems and how he is going to beat him. Was it his devastating one sides win against Danny Williams? Was it getting knocked down, bloodied up and then landing about 10 punches over 4 rounds against a 41 year old with no knees? Please John, share your boxing genius with us!!!!
Out of shape and with an knee injury Just wait... when he faces Haye we all can see if Charr is any good. For me he looked not bad at all against Vitali, he had a good game plan and could land good shots. Very unlucky to get stopped by this cut. A bull**** stoppage giving Vitali an easy escape.
I meant we saw how good Haye is against a fighter like Charr (Chisora). As for Charr's performance in the Vitali fight; he was terrible, landed nothing of note, got outworked and out punched by a 41 year old with a dodgy knee. Charr escaped with a majority decision against Zack Page, come on, frankly he has little business being in with Vitali or Haye.
His gameplan against Vitali was appalling, I mean as bad as McCloskey's vs Khan! He didn't land ANY shot of note. Just because it was a soft stoppage doesn't mean he ever had a chance.
He did land some good shots. It was his plan to start with the work late so of course he got outworked in the early rounds!atsch But Charr also saw that Vitali struggels when he is pushed in the late Rounds. So what? he got a MD against Page? After a serious injury when he was not on 100% already? Oh how bad! Look at your contenders how they struggled against low opposition! Fury against Firtha! Any more questions? But here you have good excuses right? Fury was out of shape bla bla... I am done here! I dont say Charr is great but he is clearly better than some people think.
1. Yes you would fly to London if you were visiting Cambridge. If not, where would you fly to then? 2. Stansted is listed as a London airport. London Luton is NOT in London but is listed as a London airport. Just accept defeat, you're sounding silly now.
Although Charr, as many tourists do, will want to visit Cambridge to see the historic University, its buildings and the beautiful King's College Chapel (the most famous building in Cambridge), I can't see him not wanting to see the London Eye & Big Ben first.
So the gameplan was to throw/land hardly any punches until the late rounds? Against a noted puncher with a massive stoppage %? It's a terrible gameplan. But you have your opinion. The Z Page does have some relevance as he is stylistically the closest fighter to Haye, that Charr has faced. He struggled. When Haye fought similar fighters to Charr (Chisora and Ruiz) he stopped them and barely lost a round. Why make it a nationality thing? Haye would beat up Fury too. Fury has looked world class once in his career, Haye has looked world class since what 07/08? I actually would prefer to see Fury vs Charr.
