Are you working for the Klitschko public relations team? trying to convince us that Charr has a chance? Charr is an utter, utter bum. It will be a highly uncompetitive fight.
you probably havent been on these boards much lately, which is good, it means you have a life.....but an overflow of idiots have all blinded together to make a **** fighter that charr into the second coming with countless hype threads of him.....its gotten boring, glad this will be over soon
Charr is a ****ing bum. Litterally they man was living in his ****ing car. This is a shame fight. Hopefully Quatli finishes it quickly.
How is not being a top 10 contender a bum? He isn't elite, not between good men either, but he's decent. Or do you qualify 90+% of all boxers as bums? Yes Vitali is much better and took a very easy opponent. But Charr is probably with ease in the top 70% of boxers
He is a bum figuratively and literally. He is a no hoper. I wouldn't even put him in the top 50. He is a garbage fight and it is a shame that Vitali is engaging in this farce of a fight.
Top 50 is how little % of all heavy boxers right now? I consider a bum who is weaker than 50-60% of all boxers. Charr is probably better than 50-60%. So he is ok/decent. I don't like to classify very big groups as one, if you count every non top 10, or top 25 as a bum you will get very big differences between the worst and the best bums.
The percentage of boxers in the top 50 is irrelevant. Vitali is a belt holder and arguably a disputed co-champ in the HW division. He should be fighting fighters at least in the ****ing top 10 , at most I could give him a break with a top 15 fighter. But this is pathetic. They get a man who is living in his car to fight for the championship. Disgraceful. As for Charr being better than 50% of the boxer. I doubt that. I really do.
Even Top 50 is a risky pick. Take a closer look. He got a lucky decision over Pedro Carrion, he struggled against Zack Page and Taras Bydenko (the fight was closer than the official scorecards suggest), he had problems with a shot & over the hill Williams (one of the absurdest stoppages i've ever seen), was hurt by Nascimento at least one time... Don't get me wrong, Charr is a very dedicated guy, who kept at it even in hard times, but it's just as his former coach said: He's far away from being able to stand the slightest chance on this level.
I already said Vitali took a much too weak opponent. Relatively to Vitali he is a bum. But if he's indeed worse than 50% of other hw boxers, then I will call him a bum, relatively compared to Vitali and absolutely compared to all other hws.
Didn't we say the same thing about Chisora and then he danced circles around Vitali and made him look his age? Don't write off Charr just yet. He's highly motivated, has a deadly left hook and punches to the body like a machine gun.
atsch Perhaps you didn't realise that the below clip features a certain Manny Charr 27 years ago. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cDixDGokCE[/ame]
