An all out slugfest between two hardened Flyweight brawlers. Both have the power to stop the other. Who ends up winning by KO?

I'll take Avelar. They're both big and they're both going to be right there eating each other's punches. Avelar hit the harder of the two.

The video above calls Chionoi "the Asian Marciano." If Marciano had fought Chionoi, he'd have had just a 2.5-inch reach advantage over the Thailander.

    Maybe Chartchai Chionoi.

Avelar does hit harder but his chin was worse, Chionoi on the other hand has got TKO losses on him,but still not bad as Avelar..cus if I'm not wrong, man got yeeted by Miguel Lora.

Both guys were so vulnerable and at times crude but it’ll definitely be like a smaller version of Foreman vs Lyle. Ultimately I think I might have to pick the power of Avelar to stop Chionoi in his tracks but not after a few rocky moments.

Chionoi. Always feel he is more organised than he looks at first sight and staying ruggedly together under pressure is going to really matter here. Clear daylight between these two IMO, and I don't think it would feel that close when it was unfolding.

I would lean towards Chionoi. I think he has that extra bit of craft about his game and was just outright the tougher man. This thread does remind me that I need to do a deep dive into both men's careers however.
