2 great Flyweights that would have made for a highly entertaining scrap had they fought. Who would you have favored between these two warriors?

Standing in the pocket against Chionoi is a recipe for disaster. If you want to beat Chionoi you have to outbox him because if you try to outfight he will overwhelm you and break you down with his monstrous power for the weight. As great as Laciar was I don’t think he has the savvy or ring acumen to beat Chionoi. I reckon the Thai breaks him down with his brick-like hands and stops the proud and teak-tough Argentine.

Another vote for Chionoi, though I see Laciar going the distance, he was a robust fighter who was never stopped, even above Fly, in over 100 contests.

Laciar, all day, every day. Twice on Sunday. I'm always going to take the guy with supior durability, skill and defense to eventually grind down a harder punching but much more limited opponent.

Laciar to bust up the Thai and eventually force a stoppage late.
