Lou said he was in PR for the Cintron fight and sat with Tito and Juan Ma. I asked him about Tito and does he think he will ever come back (hoping he would say no). Lou said he spoke to Tito about it and Tito said "Im rich and fat and happy. I am done with boxing" Great to hear champ!:happy
Good for him -- he has nothing left to prove and we've seen time and time again what this sport does to the veterans.

True. I'll say this - Felix didn't look horrible against the much bigger and still capable Jones. If he hasn't been keeping in shape since then, however - there's really no point getting back into it. Too much of an uphill battle at this point. Old bodies don't like too much fluctuation, it confuses them and they start to rebel and **** the bed (figuratively and maybe even literally).
Especially the veteran otherwise known as B-Hop. He will be 45 in three months. He's still competing at the highest level in one of the most demanding sports, if not THE most demanding. Remarkable! When B-Hop does eventually call time on what has been an illustrious career, you might hear him say he's rich & happy, but you won't hear him say he's fat! I'm confident Bernard will stay in shape. I know he represent GBP, but I hope Hopkins does become a trainer. He has been there, seen it, done it & done it again. Knows what its takes. Hopkins would be a no nonsense trainer!
He'd make guys cry and quit the sport. :nono BHop may have more experience and innate comprehension of the game, but does not exactly have the gentle touch of a Buddy McGirt. Your fighter needs to feel motivated but also calm and relaxed - you gotta be their coach and their advocate. :deal
