    So is KingOfThe1Round Shannon Briggs?

If so, can you handle more than a round? Welliver will gladly sign up to beat you the F down in a main event for your new promotional venture. Grudge Match! Chauncy gets even for Shannon trying to turn him into The Native American Kimbo Slice on the streets of Miami. You know Slice never makes it anywhere if Briggs succeeded, Welliver holds down Miami for life if he goes that route. I want to see this match. Once Welliver beats the living hell out of the last American HW Champ, maybe Briggs can make another attempt at signing him. Briggs needs a #1 fighter with skills and class. Chauncy would put Briggs on the canvas and then on the map in such an event.

Hopefully after this fight the name of the Wellturd fade's into history, a forgetton club
fighter who went as far as his limited talent could take him. Hopefully he's saved his money and he can move on to something else in life that he's more suited to, say like a
pie eating contest or really any of the competeive eating sports. Because that's the only
way we will become a world champion. I never understood the hype on this forum for Chauncy at all, he's overweight, has no defense,no power and has never beaten anyone close to a top thirty legit HW and the one time he stepped up he lost to Solis and he's not anything close to wht he was as an amature

No way is it Briggs. His **** talking ability is top shelf. 1RoundKOPunchwhatever isn't there yet.

Briggs would fit right in here.

So what's up Messer? Is this happening for sure? Is your boy pumped for it? This is that opportunity he (and you) have been waiting for.

Best of luck to your friend.

Good for Williver, going after a guy he had a great deal of difficulty with already. Must be a confident/improved fighter.

He all. I have been told to step it up by the people, and we are trying to. People always refer to the Solis fight when chatting up my career. It's really the only fight I have online people can watch. Should he decide to fight, and should it land in China, will be huge. HUGE! Solis is a solid step. I feel it shows how far I've come along. I felt good until I got tired 50lbs ago against him. Now I will have a game plan, not be as nervous fighting in front of his people, and be in shape to go a very hard 12 rounds.
It all comes down to him. If they will not come to China, we will go anywhere they ask us to. I am confident in victory. I have progressed so much and this will be a great chance to prove it.
Other options should he turn the chance down... Jonathan Banks in a 12 round bout in China. Also, in huge news I received tonight, China has so much faith in me, will buy the heavyweight division rounds of the "WBC World Cup". 2012 will be a great year to show everybody where I can go, including myself.

I have to say in favor of Welliver on his fight against Solis that despite been in a horrible shape he hung up with solis for 8 rds and never was in serious danger-even the stoppage could have been a lit premature-He showed very good moves and reflexes for some one so out of shape and took some heavy hits from solis with ease.
If he could really get in a decent shape he could be trouble for any HW -except the Klits.

It is unlikely that Solis would agree to act in China. In the United States is more likely to fight.
Solis needed contender for January and February. Cancel and go fight in the United States to fight with Solis.

Great news mate. The tourney looks fantastic. Do us a favour and keep us informed if you can, we appreciate it, even the ****wits do.

The World Boxing Council (WBC) announced at the 49th Annual convention taking place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, that next year they plan to launch the World Cup of Boxing in eight different weight categories. The World Cup will jump off in May, culminating in the final stretch of 2012, and the event will coincide with the celebration of the WBC's 50th annual convention, which is scheduled to take place in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

This tournament will last about 40 weeks. We have struck a verbal agreement with U.S. television network and expect the participation of every champion within our WBC confederations, and that includes regional, international and silver champions," explained Jose Sulaiman, the WBC's President.

This World Cup will be good for everyone, the people in boxing. In my opinion this is one of the largest programs that the WBC has promoted in 50 years. We trust that boxers from 164 countries to participate in the WBC's World Cup, including regional and silver champions. According to Sulaiman, the WBC would deliver significant prize money to the champions of each division in this World Cup, and the champions of each division could earn up to $250,000 dollars.

This tournament will begin in the month of May 2012. It will last 40 weeks and we plan to have a night of the World Cup during the week of the 50th anniversary of the WBC. Therefore it is important that every promoter talks to their champions to participate.

Some of the eight divisions include flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight.

    **** YEAH :happy

Very slim shot that Oner/Solis agree to fight in China.

I have heard that Solis is not supposed to leave the USA for some reason?

As for the WBC World Cup, I'm excited for this and love that Chauncy is willing to enter. it's his ticket to the top guys who avoid him today. The only problem I habe with it is the pay scale they talked about. HW's should not be fighting for the same level of purses as the little guys. I don't think 40K 1st round matches are that bad but they won't command much interest from guys who can sell some tickets. David Tua would laugh in your f'n face at 40 grand. 50 grand for the 2nd round is just terrible for HW's coming off a big win. I think guys will be thinking about bailing out on the tourney if they don't like their round 2 fights.

I'd personally like to see Welliver vs Monte Barrett around March. After that, a decision could be made to either enter the WBC tourney or a more lucrative offer could be had in New Zealand or Australia. Tua, Meehan, Leapai, maybe even Cameron.

Another match that I think makes sense all the way around for everybody is Tyson Fury. If NBC wants to really light the HW division up, they would try to secure this fight. Chauncy needs an opponent like Fury to demonstrate his ability to chop down a Klitschko. Fury needs an opponent who can make him work for 12 rounds without being a massive threat to KO him with 1 shot. It would be a war, best HW fight in decades. And IMO, Welliver stops the big mess around 10 or 11. We haven't seen trench warfare like these 2 would provide since WW1.
